Fren, we can imagine a whole lot, maybe even have a faint wish for old Dante-style justice. Yes, justice and retribution are the Lord's to take, I think we're allowed to pray that He does. I'm mindful that we desire mercy for ourselves and our loved ones, but there's a requirement, I believe, for some repentance. These are not incompatible thoughts.
