Does anyone know how many SA's would be willing to leave their homes and relocate to another country? It isn't easy to leave your homes, but sometimes it is necessary. At the very least, we could organize a donation for the SA pedes here to get them relocated. Has no one started a fundraiser to get them out yet?
A lot of them have left. Apparently it wasnβt unusual for a while to find abandoned vehicles near the Johannesburg Airport. That belonged to White families that dropped everything and fled.
Many of the Afrikaner left in SA. Frankly donβt want to go. They can trace their ancestry there back several centuries. In fact sometimes the same family has held the same plot of land longer then the U.S has been a country. Itβs their home.
And though we may consider it crazy they arenβt going to abandon their homes so easily.
I don't consider it crazy to want to stay in your ancestoral home, I don't have children to worry about. I would prefer to stay and fight for my home, but I understand for the survival of the family line to make a new home elsewhere. The odds are definitely not in their favor. I have never been to SA, buy I have read about their crime rate and the plethora of poisonous and venomous animals and plants. It is a tough place, but home is home.
