So almost six years ago, POTUS Trump was protected aboard AF1 and abroad "WHILE THESE OPERATIONS [WERE] CONDUCTED."

Three Options Exist

Either the operations were already conducted while he was POTUS; or the operations were interrupted or prevented outright years ago and are being conducted now; or they will be conducted when he's again POTUS.

A fourth option (They will never be conducted) is discarded without consideration.
