Trump indicted
🤡 HONK HONK 🌎
CBS news special report.
For Jan 6.
Only Trump charged. Jack Smith to speak at 6
Conspiracy to defraud US.
Conspiracy against rights.
Conspiracy to obstruct.
Obstruction of official procedure.
Discovery should be cool.
Cue the destruction of anything Trump's defense could get a hold of
Unless they already have it and that’s why they raided his house, didn’t find what they were looking for, and now are trying to bully him into submission!
Do Trump’s lawyers get to do discovery? I know that is normally the procedure, but, hell, nothing is normal anymore.
Prosecutors have to turn over in discovery any evidence they're using and any evidence that might be exculpatory.
For example, in Florida they mentioned today all surveillance footage up to a certain date and all grand jury interviews were turned over.
I think the idea of you asking them for discovery is from a civil case. I don't think that applies in a criminal case.
But if prosecutors do not turn over everything before trial, the defendant can go free. It's known as a Brady violation
Thank you. 😁
What proof?
