Part of it I think is opposition to Flynn just to get back at people. Because most of the accusations and dislike really started cropping up. Right around the time some anon/right wing influencer groups started falling apart. Wethemedia being an example of just such a detonation that resulted in such a divide.

And the people on one side liked Flynn. The people on the other either didn’t for various reasons.
