I don't understand your downvotes...it was a well known fact that Joe Kennedy employed the mafia to help elect his son to office...and that is not to say he may not have won without that...but that is why the mafia was involved with the assassination of Kennedy...when Robert Kennedy went after the mafia as Attorney General...
