I have seen old charts, posted on a couple of threads on GAW, that showed how most diseases were dropping in relation to sanitation and clean water. Those same diseases took an upward surge when vaccines for said dieases were introduced. I have no idea how to find those threads, though.

I have those images on my local drive. I would post them right here in the reply but for some reason I can't see how to upload an image in a post. Frankly makes me feel like I'm being censored. Do I have to upload it to some image hosting site first and then link to it from here? That's already too much work -- the site should manage that for me so I don't have to think about it.
