I have good friends who moved to Canada from Johannesburg about 25+ years ago when we were kids. Great family. Great people. Legitimately some of the best people I know. This situation really strikes a chord with me. What is really amazing is that people in North America continue to take steps towards being a society that turns the same way in the end. When they came here, I was told stories about the living conditions in SA. No comfort. Electric fences, massive walls, 24 hour neighborhood watch. Basically ready to be attacked 24/7. This is not a new issue and it’s scary as can be
