If JPM goes down, we're fucked. Yes, maybe it'll open up the PM market to proper value, but other stuff will be f'd up.

FYI - FDIC WON'T SAVE YOUR ASS - READ THE FINE PRINT!!!!

Investment products that are not deposits, such as mutual funds, annuities, life insurance policies and stocks and bonds, are not covered by FDIC deposit insurance.
FDIC insurance repays deposits up to $250k over a period of years, a percentage at a time. So it isn't like you're lump remains untouched.
