There is nothing divine about innocent children dying to prove anything what so ever. That’s like excusing the cabal killing children in false flags in order to make you surrender your guns, using fear and deception.
There is nothing divine about innocent children dying
The children in the text aren’t innocent.
What is your working definition for “children”? The “children” in the text were old enough to have the mental capacity to jeer the prophet of the LORD in a way that indicated that they doubted him as Elijah’s successor.

And yes I personally believe the God of the Jews is not the God Jesus called father.
Let us presume your interpretation of the mauling in 2 Kings 2 is correct. If you believe that there is nothing divine about innocent children dying, then why did your god, who isn’t YHWH God of the Old Testament, allow those innocent children to die? By your own line of logic, you defined your god as not divine because he allowed those children to die.
Because humans have free will. The evil entity knows this, and has to obey the rules of the actual creator God. Yahweh is inferior to him, but superior to humans. Yahweh is simply a negative entity that is set on controlling humanity by means of fear and using his chosen as the political power structure of the world. Replace the words satan with Yahweh and all the sudden the cabal makes a lot of sense. Nowhere in the gospel did Jesus take a life, he saved them, he even resurrected Lazarus… where did YAhweh resurrect anyone, all he does is kill and kill, punish and enslave. Two different Gods. Christ was our path out of darkness. He showed us the way that our creator intended us to follow for spiritual advancement and the evolution of consciousness. In my perpetual perspective. Jesus Christ was a manifestation of the creator God of the universe. A avatar in the flesh. Yahweh on the other hand is a negatively inclined entity who is more or less a moral dictator. Remember just because YAweh did it, does not make it just. You can’t justify Evil by simply saying if YAweh did it, then is good.
Earlier I gave examples from the gospel of John where Jesus claimed to be the same as the God of the Old Testament. Here is another example where Jesus identifies himself as the son of man coming on the clouds of heaven which is a direct link to Daniel 7. When Jesus said that in Matthew 26, the high priest tore his robes and accused him of blasphemy.
Daniel 7:13-14; Matthew 26:64; Mark 14:62; Revelation 1:7

He even told the Jewish leaders, you are of your father the devil.
Now put those two ideas together. The high priest accused Jesus of blasphemy because Jesus claimed to be the son of the God of his Old Testament law.
The truth is that the Bible has plenty of data points where Jesus identifies himself with the YHWH of the Old Testament. No amount of side arguments can reconcile the fact that Jesus made these claims.
I’m not an atheist. I believe in the creator, and my views are not compatible with atheism when it comes of creation. I adopted teachings of Jesus Christ because it makes sense to me. That makes me a Christian.
God is sovereign over all. He gave life to everything and he can take life away from everything - and He would be entirely justified in doing so. He created, He can destroy. Consider the Flood.
Sounds like you want to make your own rules. Good luck with that.
I’m not making my own rules. I’m simply observing and using common sense and historic writing that supports my theory. Yahweh might have made humans as a type of Sub creator God. But he is by no means the architect of the universe or the God Yeshua calls father.
Consider this.. a carpenter can make things out of wood, but he simply uses the raw material and changes it, to make something new out of existing material, but the carpenter didn’t make the wood, he is not it’s creator.

At no point does Jesus call himself Yahweh.
Sounds like your a student of the New Atheism. Dawkins, Hitchens, Harris, etc...
They've all been dealt with handily.
