Judge Chutkan gave Trump’s team 1 day to respond to Special Counsel’s protective order. The Court's local rules allow for 14 days to respond. Trump's team asked for more time. She denied their requested extension & denied Trump's request for a hearing date where both his lawyers could be present.

The obama 'judge' is already hostile. At least reminding it that she has to answer to someone else might at least keep the process moving within the guardrails...
This railroad isn't meant to have guardrails. Judges are usually allow d some discretion within their jurisdiction (courtrooms), and I'm going to assume thst her boss woukd see this as judicial discretion.
