I follow Hawaii Volcano National park and some other Hawaii accounts on Instagram and I've seen posts about dry conditions and no burning. I'm not saying this was an act of nature or man because I don't know enough about the situation. I do know people are very careless and don't care. My husband was a volunteer firefighter over twenty years. I remember one day over thirty years ago they went to multiple grass fires from 8-5 because it was first of spring and people here burn leaves and yard trash a lot. The average person doesn't pay attention to burn bans. Heck people still throw out trash and burning cigarettes here, eastern North Carolina. I love my home state and the south but there's to many people that don't care about other people's property and nature.
