These stories came out of nowhere, so I'd be skeptical.

*They remind me of those rumors that they found Katie Hobbs cartel connections, and Hobbs was about to be arrested.

**That story came and went, and I'm sure a lot of people got very disappointed

You could copy and paste this thought about every single thing we hear from every single person every day and you wouldn't be wrong.

The key is context. Why is she suddenly being pushed? It's hard to reconcile it being a larp or self promotion . To me, it signals public reassurance and information dissemination.
