I don't have much of an insight into space lasers or the like, don't really care tbh.

I just find it funny that about 1 year ago there was a thread about we being ruled by alien sentient parasites, or some similar moronic thing, and said thread was stickied. 🤷‍♂️

Correct. Slow news day. Frogs were going crazy for it for some moronic reason, /NEW was packed with non-stop "Maui" fringe conspiracy BS, so, this is a way for GAW to get all out of their systems in one place.
