Back in the 1920s Otto Warberg won the Nobel prize in Medicine twice for the cure of lung and stomach cancers.
I worked at a huge medical university and went to their library and all references for this was scrubbed. I was forewarned this might be the case.
The cancer doctor I worked with, and I will never forget, said 'there's a cure out there but we're not allowed to use it'. At this I lost all respect for him.
