Best argument against nuclear power I have read, of all the disasters, Fukushima IS the worst; the Japanese government played "move the deck furniture" to prettify a deadly engineering feat by GE to cut costs at the plant: cut back the hill to lower costs, reduced height of sea wall to save on costs. Placed the generators lower to save costs. What it has done to the Pacific Ocean is surmised by some and suppressed by governments..
The best way to describe the growing spent nuclear rods storage problem is insanity. The data I provided may be 10 to 20 years old. So, today the problem has only gotten worse. Believe it or not, there is available technology to neutralize radioactive material on a massive scale. Even in nature there's a very good solution. It's called lightning. Lightning neutralizes radiation and does so splendidly. Brown gas (HHO) also neutralizes it and is cheap to produce. And there's many other means, including harmonic frequencies. The question then is, Why doesn't the nuclear industry pursue this? I think you'll find that there's a very evil and nefarious reason for it.
I do believe it is this:fiat dollars.....
