Why are They FAKING Photos from Maui?
How could they fake this whole thing?
Same way they are faking the war in Ukraine w video game pics etc
(see the movie-Wag the Dog)
They visited the hospitals and found almost no one there. That has now been confirmed by local media, which surprisingly has already contradicted Gov. Sylvia Luke's claim on CNN that hospitals on Maui were overwhelmed with burn victims and victims of smoke inhalation. So you have to ask yourself why the governor would tell such a huge lie?
What I have missed is any pictures or film of firefighting teams, helicopters, or planes fighting this fire in Maui. No sirens? No planes dumping water or chemicals? No ships with water cannons? No military response? No national guard response? Just a total thumb-in-ass stand-down?
Saturday: they are now admitting no warning sirens sounded, much less firetruck sirens. Nothing.
Maui is one of the wettest places on earth, 404 inches a year. http://mileswmathis.com/maui.pdf
It could very well be that they are faking the whole thing, but:
Is not exactly true.
According to a Maui information site:
Only the high reaches get the 400 inches. In the west apparently there isn't a whole lot of rain (10 inches is desert level). The map suggests, there are quite a few rivers, lakes, ponds, etc. though, so it appears there should be quite a few firebreaks.
Putting it forth as the "wettest place on earth" may not be accurate in context. It's tough to say from the available information what the soil conditions are like where the fire is (or is supposed to be).
There are such things as "rain shadows." Here in the state of Washington, the Olympic peninsula has the highest rainfall (~100 inches/year), but certain locations (e.g., Sequim) are in the lee of the Olympic mountains which take the brunt of the incoming rain from the Pacific Ocean. It is notoriously dry, with only a few inches/year.
