We have a 2nd home in a very small Mississippi town. I was having a conversation with my neighbor and I asked well what's the latest news around town. He answered "the number of funerals". I said "what"? He said he's never attended so many funerals of family and friends. It seems like there's one every week now. How old are the folks dying I asked? He said they were "too young to die". They were in their 40s, 50s & 60s. Sad because I believe I know what the common denominator is!

Many people mock "blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth."
For instance, I like Rush, but the entire premise of 2112 is that the 'meek' are losers who get stuck in a totalitarian AI run Earth when all the people with talent and initiative go to the stars.
I doubt many have considered the thought that the faithful, refusing the siren call (and government force) of fake science, might inherit the Earth by virtue of being the majority of people who can still have kids.
