There’s a possibility, as a few have commented, that they’ll try to implement climate lockdowns instead of covid — and all the recent fires could be how they’ve been slow-rolling it.

But climate lockdowns would also logically mean absolutely no flights or driving (EVs excluded). So masks on planes make no sense in that instance — not that logic has ever played a role in anything they’ve done…. The other outlier is that they have got to know a large majority of conservatives, and possibly even some liberals, will call b.s. on the climate narrative and won’t comply
