Welcome to General Chat - GAW Community Area
This General Chat area started off as a place for people to talk about things that are off topic, however it has quickly evolved into a community and has become an integral part of the GAW experience for many of us.
Based on its evolving needs and plenty of user feedback, we are trying to bring some order and institute some rules. Please make sure you read these rules and participate in the spirit of this community.
Rules for General Chat
-
Be respectful to each other. This is of utmost importance, and comments may be removed if deemed not respectful.
-
Avoid long drawn out arguments. This should be a place to relax, not to waste your time needlessly.
-
Personal anecdotes, puzzles, cute pics/clips - everything welcome
-
Please do not spam at the top level. If you have a lot to post each day, try and post them all together in one top level comment
-
Try keep things light. If you are bringing in deep stuff, try not to go overboard.
-
Things that are clearly on-topic for this board should be posted as a separate post and not here (except if you are new and still getting the feel of this place)
-
If you find people violating these rules, deport them rather than start a argument here.
-
Feel free to give feedback as these rules are expected to keep evoloving
In short, imagine this thread to be a local community hall where we all gather and chat daily. Please be respectful to others in the same way
I'm doomin ngl, if a brother or sister could ask our Lord for me I am sure He would take it into account.

Pre-occupied, means I need to get to the occupied stage.
(Pun not intended.)
You do know that this psalm is in regards to the crucifixion of Christ, right?
Sorry you’re feeling so down. I do too, sometimes, but all we can do now is wait and trust in Him. He should be enough. But I don’t feel that way sometimes, so we have to get past our feelings. I pray that you have a blessed day, and that some type of miracle will show you that God is reaching out to you. Something that it could only be from God. Praying for you FREN.
Yeah I realized that after I posted lol... God feels far sometimes I'm only hoooman even tho He never fails....
Makes me think when peter jumped in the water... Sometimes things don't make logical sense, but God is always there with His arms open "why did you fear?"
Guess who made that brain of yours? Seems to me He is occupying it.
I see His work in you. Oh take heart. God is not finished with you. And God finishes what He starts.
Imho.
Thank u anon. I'm glad I'm on this board, people are the best here.
It really is refreshing
"Man does not live on bread alone"
Excellent Psalm...I can tell you that many are struggling and feel the same way...these are very difficult times...but pay attention to verse 23-24...God inhabits the praise of man...
"23 You who fear the LORD, praise him! All you descendants of Jacob, honor him! Revere him, all you descendants of Israel!
24 For he has not despised or disdained the suffering of the afflicted one; he has not hidden his face from him but has listened to his cry for help."
1 Kings 19:11-13 King James Version "11 And he said, Go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake:
12 And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice."
Be still and know that I am God...I pray that you find God in the still small voice that you hear...
God bless you and yours...
Thank you anon, there is nothing like the right passage at the right time... I might just need to go to the mount, let the wind and earthquake pass... I know that small voice...
From Romans- “Now The God of Hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope by the power of The Holy Spirit.

Matthew 7:7-8 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
You are on the right track...
Amen, it really is that simple...
