There are a lot of us. I’m in LA .
Been in many earthquakes, but never a large storm. It’s definitely going to flood. Maybe it can help wash the 💩 and 💉 off the sidewalk.
Make sure you get to collect rainwater and have at least two weeks worth of non perishables and a bug-out site. I'm far from there, but I believe you guys would be way less at risk in the mountains or close to Baja and the Mojave than in any big Cali city.
California gets a bad rap on that score. Lots of patriots, but we don't have the media megaphone on our side. For anybody in LA who wants a boost from an epic list of how LA has been used in religious revivals, check out this vid where Mario Murillo lays it out. Kind of blew my mind. No need to watch the whole thing unless you're a Murillo fan: start at 8:45 and he goes for 5 minutes on LA-born movements.
Most of Southern California has significant cliffs right on the coast. Redondo, Hermosa, and Manhattan Beaches have residential neighborhoods right at sea level. Further north some more cliffs until Playa del rey, Venice, Santa monica, These areas are susceptible to Storm surge flooding.
As far as the ignorant comments about California doesn't have patriots . . . shaking my head, California has millions of patriots, 55 electoral college votes is the reason why so much election fraud
I appreciate your good intentions, but there is a sub-set of the population of California that is already waxing their surfboards and headed for the beaches. We see it in the gulf states every single time there is a hurricane and surfing isn't even a major part of our culture/lifestyle like it is in some parts of California. I can already hear the surfers yelling "Surf's Up Dude". God save them.
I thought Salty Cracker was the last patriot in SoCal. Kinda like a reverse Lot

Feel free to correct me If I'm wrong
Um. Anyone living on them hills may be sliding down. Landslides are more of a problem in CA after lots of rain.
So even the hills are alive!
