curious. i see some old school people breeze through and talk of the old days, i came in when reddit shut down the_donald.

I was never on the_donald, but I was on Voat. There was QRV and GreatAwakening on Voat. I never felt worthy to post my stuff on QRV, so I stuck to GreatAwakening. Even so, there was a lot that was shared there, and with style and grace. When GreatAwakening was shut down around Christmas of 2020(?), I came here. Didn't like it much here at first, but adapted. Now I like it a lot here, but it is not Voat. (Sometimes I wonder how Voat got its name. It sounds like Vote, but it is spelled like goat. A goat is not a sheep, and there are negative connotations with goats. Of course there are negative connotations with frogs too, so there's that.)
