Stunned a tropical cyclone dumped a bunch of water? Stunned that a stadium built in a ravine flooded? I am stunned that some folks have the brain power to breathe.
It is in a ravine after all. Flash floods? Have you ever heard of a low water crossing. FUCK. All a hurricane really is is a mechanism to cool off a hot spot caused by the sun. The heat exchange is the water vapors it gathers and cools to dump back down into the areas it travels too. It dumps a lot of water. So. Cal. is a fucking coastal desert. Hills and valleys. Water finds the lowest fucking point. Period. As long as Dodger stadium is in a desert it is generally safe from flooding. In a few days it will be dry. The grounds crews will nip and rake it back into a beautiful shade of green.... in no small part due to that nitrogen rich water sitting atop the field currently. Look it up, lightning releases nitrogen from a bond in air. It then is absorbed by falling rain. Falling rain deliver that free fucking fertilizer back into the ground. I live 150 miles from the Texas Riviera. I beg storms to come this way as I love to see how green Texas (otherwise it is a bunch of shades of brown... including skin tones) gets after a nice long rainstorm pushes inland. Yeah, there are damages associated with the storms but the flip side is that Texas get water. Water much of the state desperately needs. From what I have read California is taking water from many sources supply the residents.
"It never rains in California.... but when it does,... man, it pours"
Wow dude, you seem very excitable. I'm envisioning mashing your keyboard and spitting on your computer screen while yelling expletives.
Yeah, I have only smoked once and had a single liter of coffee so far, just wait until I really get worked up. Sparked the 2nd joint and the 2nd liter is brewing now.
Nobody is stunned, not even the journalist: she's just pretending that everyone else is.
The stadium is on a hill. The parking lot drainage allowed some pooling. Good thing the helicopter was calmly flying in the gale-force winds to get such nice footage of a very wide 3" puddle.
Lol the puddle to friggin funny !
