Oil is a renewable resource. Had a conversation with a drilling engineer from a major international drilling company. I asked him about oil wells that had been sucked dry being found filled with oil after a period of a number of years. His answer was "yes" that happens. I'm old enough to remember the Carter years and all the talk of "peak oil". Oil is not scarce. The oil lie started with Rockefeller I believe.
