The building departments shut down for 2 months here. I couldnt get inspections. That one act shut me down completely. I had one builder who said fuck em and we did some work anyway on sold homes that he had closing dates on.

I also lost two builders because they demanded everyone wear masks and social distance. Can you imagine trying to set up and pour driveways, garages and basements while social distancing? Can you imagine busting your balls in 90 degree heat wearing a mask? These two builders had sheep out there enforcing these rules too. I ended up telling them to fuck off.

Now three years later and we are barely hanging on. I went from 25 guys down to 5 and have a hard time finding them 40 hours. Meanwhile, the road crews are going 24/7. Why? The unions are in the club and I am not.
