I have donated directly on donaldjtrump.com and it goes to winred to take the donation. My thoughts are that winred runs donations for many Republicans, after donating to Trump it asks about donating to other republicans. My belief was I donated directly to Trump.

Am I wrong?

You are right. In this case, win red is just a credit card processor and takes the mandatory info when making a contribution. Always go to his website.

good to hear that. Yes I only donate directly from his website, not ad links. Only other donations for me have been Mark Robinson for NC governor, b/c I am in NC

Finally, Trumps site also includes a page that lists the people and pacs who actually have received the Trump Seal of Approval so you can verify claims before donating.
