Cigarette smoker guy is kinda based. Nicotine binds to the same ACE receptor as the virus and reduced your chances of catching by 7x and reduced chances of hospitalization by the same amt in some studies I saw early on from Italy and Israel.
France actually made nicotine patches a prescription only item bc ppl who didn't smoke started buying them as covid preventative. And you know, they wanted to save lives and shit so they made them harder to get
Well, being part Native American, I can see a person smoking rolled organic tobacco now and then, maybe more. This guy was smoking Camels (I recognized the package protruding out of his pocket), which are laden with chemicals and weaponized nicotine.
I have read somewhere that virus don't like nicotine. I'm sure this guy believes his mask, vaccine + boosters saves him from Covid, not the cigs. Which again may be another b.s. campaign by the PTB to demonize or pervert a substance for consumption. I'm open to new data. But I refuse to get jabbed or wear a stupid mask for "health reasons".
Not vaxxed, smoked like a chimney out of boredom both times I was sick with COVID-19. Hardly noticeable reduced oxygen uptake, otherwise like a regular flu for me. Borderline walk in the park.
I think there is something to it.
edit:
Borderline walk in the park compared to hospital, intubation and dying.
Interesting. Like I mentioned before, maybe the cigarettes cause cancer campaign may have been a cover for something else. Like air pollution. Or vaccines. I know the fluoride scam has slightly awakened some of my liberal co-workers to the possibility that $cience narratives are not always beneficial. I'm lucky in that my county water is not fluoridated. I still use a reverse osmosis filter on my faucet.
If you make your own vape juice (i.e. don't buy the crap from China) you can control your nicotine and don't have to hope the pre-made stuff is not laden with extra chemicals. It also makes it easy to slowly taper your nicotine instead of being stuck on whatever the vape shop sells.
I get my (food-grade) VG from Amazon (1 gal bottle), and the flavoring and nicotine from The Vape Mall. I don't use PG - gives me a headache. It is easy to make - there are e-juice apps.
That should help your wife to relax if you can show her it is WAY cheaper, you know what you are getting, and you are tapering your nicotine.
And it does help w/COVID. I saw an article a year or 2 ago that said some doctor or hospital in France noticed that smokers were not having nearly the amount of respiratory symptoms that non-smokers were in the heat of the COVID outbreak. It made no sense because you would think that smokers would be worse off so they did a study.

Maybe, but I have no doubt cigarettes can cause cancer. They are full of bad chemicals, both before and during actually smoking the cigarette.

Good luck.
Haha that's awful.
- Macron, probably. Or some other french baguette.

Wonder if the nicotine gum does the same? I’ve been addicted to it since I used it to quit smoking
It should. Nicotine is the ACE hijacker so anything with nicotine will attach to those receptors.
