Hate to say it, but it's already far, far more creepy than you're aware of. The enemy created things in the shadows that should never have existed. At least we now have the chance to use them against them...
Nice post by the way. I agree with everything you said.
Is there any way to "un" create them, or is that purely wishful thinking? I can't imagine a tech-dystopia being on the bingo card of the future Q/DJT envisions for humanity...
Nothing has ever truly been "uncreated." The best we can hope for is to steer how it makes its way into the public. Brain/Computer Interfacing is going to happen either way. It will be much less terrifying with white hats throttling what is made public and how.
White hats in control and lots of government regulation definitely gives me a reason to be calm but I still worry that the future will be less and less "human" if that makes sense... It only makes me want to connect with nature even more and to avoid my phone and computer. And who knows, maybe I'll give this God/Jesus thing a shot... I'd rather worship the actual creator as opposed to a piece of technology...
Now I know what Tolkien must have felt like when he lamented the age of industrialization and how he longed for a simpler time.

We can't wait to welcome you into the brotherhood.
As far as addressing what you said before that...read the book of Revelations. It's not happening now, but it will undoubtedly happen later, maybe even within your and my lifetimes. The technology that already exists in the shadows is more than capable of fulfilling almost every single prophecy... The only thing the enemy hasn't figured out yet is opening the Abyss...
EDIT: I realize that you are not yet a Christian, but I would like to share with you a prayer that I wrote myself: "Lord, continue to forge me into the weapon that you intend for me to be. And should your return be nigh, may you find me already on the battlefield and lead me into the final battle. Amen."

Remember that kid who shot up the school in Florida? Remember him "hearing demons in his head?" Those weren't demons...at least not in the traditional sense...
