People?

The actual people of Jerusalem welcomed Jesus to Jerusalam as a king ascending his throne. Pontius Pilate even referred to Jesus as a king because of what happened.

The people in the forum were in no way, shape or form representative of the people of Jerusalem. They were plants by the scribes and pharisees, repeating what they were told to say.
