I learned a new prayer--actually an old one from the Psalms--that's running through my head now: "Arise, oh God, and cause Your enemies to be scattered, and let those who hate you flee before Your face!" The idea being that the face of God repels demons more than anything, but this surely applies to their human minions. Seems very appropriate for the times.

Yes, speak with our Father in Heaven both in the good times praising his abundance shared with us & during our times of pain.

Consider it yourself. Sure many of us will help a our child (even friends) who complains frequently & rarely says thank you. Though it rarely comes fast because we are weary of all the complaints & refusal to listen & follow directions.

The child who is grateful in word & deed is the one we find ourselves most quickly helping when they are suffering even a little bit.

Pray during times when it is amazing in your life as well & I have found always starting a pray with gratitude helps to remind us that there is always something to be grateful for.
