Why is Trump such a polarizing figure?
🐸 WAG THE FROG 🐸
Think about it. No one is neutral on Trump. People like us are passionate Trump supporters. Many are virulent opponents. But I know of no one who is of the mind "Trump? He's OK, I guess. " What's your experience been?
He's a threat to the world's most powerful and wealthy people that run a very well oiled and financed political machine in Washington D.C. Everybody in D.C. has their place in it and they all are rewarded for it. Trump is an outsider which means he isn't corrupted by it nor is he beholden to anybody. They realized the only way to fight him is to hyperpolarize everything he does in an effort to turn the public against him. It's only gotten more and more extreme to the point where they've had to go full authoritarian.
He's definitely helped pull back the curtain to expose the wizard many of us "knew" was there but didn't realize just how utterly demonic and nefarious "they" are.
Yes, he has, and plenty of people hate that because now they have to deal with that. They'd much rather just go on ignoring it and not be expected to do anything about it.
