I submit that this is not good Branding. Here is why:
First reason I don't like Election Infection is because it tends to legitimize that something IS "Infecting" people. It is giving legs, substance to a biological agent, call it a virus, bioweapon or whatever. Even the sheeple will be able to claim, "See even the anons are acknowledging that there is an infection going around."
So after having legitimized the existence of an INFECTION, the second reason is because by narrowing it to "the biological component" i.e INFECTION, the term is missing the complete operational picture, and creating a brand new term for a sequel event carries forward none of the "golden buzzer" trigger from the first event. This is bad marketing. There is a reason the sequel to JAWS was called JAWS 2. "Just when you though it was safe to go back in the water." brought with it all the terror of the first JAWS.
Round 2 should build on the terror of round 1, not recreate it anew.
(I could give you more explanation as to why I thing this is not good slogan but my spousal unit is fussing at me to do something.)
Feel free to submit your better term to the group when the honeydo list is completed 😉
Well logic would put it that following the JAWS example, we would take the most successful title/themes of the first movie, and make it the title/theme of the sequel with a subtitle adder. "Scamdemic 2" Then as a subtitle, you could use "The Election Infection" This would carry any mindfulness/awareness/push back/anger/resentment that was build up, manifest by first run into the second run.
Scamdemic 2
"The Election Infection"
Or
Scamdemic 2024
"The Election Infection"
