/u/DCSucks - this isn't directed at you. You just posted an interesting video - you didn't make it. And I agree - DC Sucks. Big time.
The video said the officers weren't wearing their rank. They clearly were. The difference is they were wearing their all-weather coats (trench coats) which require commissioned and warrant officers to wear their rank on shoulder boards. Enlisted wear small non-subdued rank symbols on their collars (which you can't see in the tiny tik-tok video, probably filmed with a potato). The other ceremonies at the Tomb of the Unknowns the video showed were in warmer weather where they did not wear their trench coats - they wore their dress uniforms.
I'm a veteran, and I worked at Arlington Cemetery for 5 years while I was stationed at the Pentagon. I spent a lot of time at the tomb and the Kennedy site. I've seen probably hundreds of these ceremonies because one of my duties was to open the chain to allow the new guard to enter the plaza, close it once he/she was inside (yes I was there when the first female did her first walk), and keep idiot tourists and their kids quiet and behind the chains. I also worked 5 straight Veteran's Day and Memorial Day ceremonies at the tomb with Clinton.
The only thing that looked out of the ordinary to me was Biden coming in through the side and not from the stairs. It is odd, but if there is a risk of ice or other slippery conditions they can change the route. Biden is like 180 years old and can't walk on a plane or find the door to the White House so I would guess that is why they did that.
Things like this piss me off because all Derek had to do was ask someone in the military, or someone that knows a current or former tomb guard. Instead he makes definitive statements about things which he does not know. I expect people with a lot of followers that post a bunch of stuff to do better.
Derek Johnson said the number of gun salute was that of a military funeral (not that of an inauguration).
Or a foreign head of state
Always is. Maybe Milley could explain?
