This is exactly right. National representatives of a State are supposed to be paid by that State, not the Federal Gov't. Loyalty lies to that from which the salary comes. It is unconstitutional and illegal for House Representatives and the 2x Senators to receive ANY emolument from a foreign State. D.C. is a foreign State relative to the 1788 Constitution (American Republic). They can all be stripped of their citizenships and deported per violation of Article I, section 9, clause 8.
