They have negligible case of autism, some genetic syndromes that present with autistic features, and they do take childhood vaccinations. I'd venture about 60-70% give all baby jabs usually more spread out but they do give them (I live in 3rd largest Amish settlement and I do therapy for them and have many Amish friends.)
Fascinating, we are in a big Mennonite community. None of them vax. I wonder if state laws have anything to do with it as my state is very free when it comes to not receiving any childhood shots
State laws are possible, but the Amish are also not immune to propaganda nor are they an incorruptible monolith.
Propaganda is not all or nothing, after all. You can buy into some while rejecting others. Not everyone makes the connection.
Jesus, the amount of people, including here on GAW, that don't understand this is staggering. I can attest to it in real life too. I have a neighbor that sees the jabs for what they are, but she buys into pretty much every aspect of covid.
The three largest Amish communities have heavy ties to traditional medicine and since they are self insured typically do jabs at the state health departments. They are heavily targeted by those state health departments. Many are waking up to the dangers, most here knew better than to take the CV jabs but do childhood vaxxes. My state is pretty free (indiana)
