Yeah- fire doesnt do that on asphalt- UNLESS, it has its own fuel source--- alcohol, gas? What was on that road?

It looks like the plasma fire that man made in his microwave was enhanced with energy from the microwave. They were "pools" of fire that formed a cohesive mass and moved on its own. They skipped along the top of his microwave Perhaps on the ground, outside of a microwave, but powered by something else, and sufficient wind they moved along the road.
