Please make sure you do your own research. I am not a lawyer.
He WAS doing it in the confines of the law...that is what frustrated the govenment...since you did not see the interview you do not have a clear perception of his tactic...they can accuse him of tax evasion but that does not mean the charges were winnable for the government...I will find the lectures....
I do see that he had arrest warrants for tax evasion at the time of his death.
So whatever he was doing, legal or not, was not being recognized by TPTB.
It doesn't matter how many lectures he gave. If it's not recognized by the court, it's essentially meaningless.
I'm sure he was convinced what he was doing was legal. But again, TPTB disagreed with him.
This is what I was talking about when I said that I've never seen any strategy from the Sovereign Citizen Movement be upheld in a court of law.
And his strategy obviously wasn't upheld in a court of law seeing as how he died while there were still warrants out over his arrest for tax evasion.
I am curious why he avoided being served with papers for tax evasion if he believed he was doing so legally and would win that case.
From what I'm reading now, he died because he vowed to not be taken into police custody alive, partly because of the tax evasion situation.

These are the presentations where they are explained...however I don't remember exactly where it was...
It was in the first half right toward the end right before they took a break...this is hours long but it is there...
I just edited my previous reply explaining why it doesn't matter how many lectures he gave about it if the court doesn't agree with him.
And obviously the court didn't agree with him if there were still warrants out for his arrest for tax evasion.
It is at about the five hour mark...well the court can certainly issue baseless warrants...come on...it isn't like they always act within the confines of the law...why do you think he was targeted...
He did not go to trial so who can say whether he was within the law or not...he was a VERY smart man and he unequivocally state he was within the law...this is why he was so good at what he did and all that he uncovered...
