Runners have been known to drive several miles on the rims. Runners often cause other accidents and run over innocent pedestrians or bystanders. Not running would have alleviated the possibility of things escalating -- this includes not running the mouth.
Thanks for the response. So, flattening a tire/tires is not, in practice, a good strategy.
I’ve only been pulled over once, wrong lane in a weird, unmarked entrance ramp, late at night. I pulled over, rolled my window down, turned the car off, put the interior lights on and put my hands high on the steering wheel until the policeman came up and spoke to me, got my license, etc. No muss, no fuss, not even a ticket as he handed back my license and told me to be safe.
It will be interesting to see, in this case, if any information on the young woman’s behavior in the store (from security cameras) before the parking lot incident shines any more light on the situation. It’s sad that two lives were lost, but the responsibility for that remains on the young woman’s choices. It was 100% avoidable.
