My great grandfather led a group of settlers to st John's, Arizona. They got caught in a box canyon by a flash flood and dismantled the wagons, climbed the cliffs and used rope to pull wagons, animals and supplies out of the canyon. It was named mormon canyon and is now under lake meed.
