No they didn't discharge him, he described it as kinda a leave without pay type thing. No backpay. They didn't give him any flack for anything, just come back in.
When he refused the vaxx a number of times, they finally told him to bring in his gear and don't come back, guess they were a little upset he wouldn't fold and take the vaxx back then. He thought at the time that he was discharged but he never got discharge papers. Then a few months ago they called him back up to duty like nothing happened, matter of fact his commanding officer was happy to see him back. Even going to give him a promotion. First day back he was told he was going on deployment to two different places, one was for a few weeks in another country for their 2-week training (he's already been to that one & back home), the other is coming up soon (in country) for a year.

Weird. IDK what to make of it but the good news is that your son is a pure blood! I hope he's not sent to Ukraine.
