Sorry but this is misinformation.

The CDC is not saying that. They are instead saying what the new varient is more easily spead. That's all. Exactly what we already know, the vax does nothing to prevent infection, and even if it did, new varients mean those with previous infections or vax, are once again ceceptable. Because corona viruses mutate. That's all.

I don't know if people are just reading the headlines of these types of posts and not bothering to read the articles or the CDC report mentioned for themselves, or if they just don't understand what they're reading. But either way, it doesn't say much about the research skills or comprehension abilities of people going around saying that this report says vaccinated people are more likely to get this new variant of COVID than unvaccinated people.
