^ THAT. Plus I think there's an ego thing involved, early adopters thinking they're some kind of trailblazers with something new and shiny they can show off to others. The few EV owners I know either have Napoleon complexes or some other insecurity.

all that time sat in the car waiting for it to recharge gives them plenty of time to reflect on their mistakes.
