Look to the left in the picture. The half sun is interchangeable with the eye of Ra, the false sun God.
I look for symbolism too, but even if you shilouette the base shapes in the image, I don't see an eye of ra.
Too much of a stretch and everything becomes symbolism, even if it's not.
I goofed up lol. The half sun symbol is 100% the sun god symbol though
