Wow, okay, maybe I've been wrong about Elon! I've moved him squarely into my "optimistic about" category.

Though what a timeline that a single [massively rich] person can stop an entire country's preemptive attack on another country.

I can't point to any evidence, but I have always felt in my gut that Elon loves his kids, and realizes that the world where it's headed if he does nothing is not going to be a very good world to grow up in, no matter what is ones economic status.

No matter how much money one has, if the state can take it away at will, how wealthy is anyone if their own money does not belong to them.
