I agree so much with this. I mean, why is Gunnels even there? I stopped listening to Brian Cates' when Gunnels started reading his articles. He is so grating to my nervous system.
Not defending him, but I know Patrick personally. He has a point of view (pov), as do we all. If you challenge him respectfully on the merits (come with solid sauce), he will respect yours.
Nah already saw how he dodges it when he covered for Jon on the last Baseless Conspiracies when some rants challenged his assertions. He played the "those questions aren't asked in good faith" and "you didn't even spend 3 seconds looking into it" cards when the rants had sound logic in them. I've been down that road too many times with other flerfers. If he'd stick to the topic at hand I'd dislike him less but fortunately Badlands now has so many other hosts that I can just avoid Patrick entirely.

His intro where Trump says "John, where's John?" - acting like he's talking about him, is a major turn off... Doesn't exactly do him any favors.

Uh...yes. Trump wasn't referring to THIS John...he hijacked the soundbite to make it seem like Trump was referring to him... which is exactly my point. It's lame...
I thought he stopped using that intro a while back because he got tired of defending the joke to people who were taking it literally (seemed to be the same idiots who kept thinking that he was claiming to be Kash Patel with his old Patel Patriot screen name.) Last several power hours I've seen had a different intro, though I admittedly skip most of it as it is overly-long.
