9/11 was definitely the line of demarcation between the new world (order) and the old world as I knew it.
Things were always f'd up, but they blatantly started lying to us 24/7. The world epitomized by the kids playing on bikes in the neighborhood was lost.
They cranked up their efforts to kill God and we, often reluctantly, started straightening up and seeking answers which ultimately lead us back to God - because we found out, all else is tainted with evil.
I believe The Great Awakening is our inevitable journey back to God. All else is f'd. There is no other place to go but back to God, whether people want to realize that yet or not.
Great comment. I was already in my early thirties when 9/11 happened but, I remember being a kid in the 70s and it was such an idyllic time, I had no idea that I was going to be the last generation to build a treehouse, jump bikes off plywood ramps, play with matches in the park, stuff like that. Even kids at the local skatepark today have such different experiences. Pedophiles and predators and drugs permeate that culture now, when I was a kid it was almost arrogantly innocent

Hey I grew up in the 90s and still did all those things (tree houses, lighting shit on fire, biking everywhere)
Yeah same here, it wasn't lost by then. I'd bet in some parts there are some that still do. I did play video games a lot but I did stuff outside too.
