I was a Tomboy, too. Spent my days climbing trees, fishing and playing cowboy and Indians with my brother. We played all kinds of ball games, ran around outside all day and rode our bikes
My husband worried about my daughter when she was 12 bc she was a tomboy, too. I told him she would be fine.
She won the presidential fitness award every year in school. She could outrun, out lift, out swim, and throw balls better than the boys in her grade school. They let her play basketball and other ball sports with them and she won. They looked up to her.
It wasn’t until she was around 16 that she even took an interest in looking like a girl. Before that she wore boys kind of clothes. It’s when she had her first boyfriend. She began wearing makeup and dressed up to go to the prom. She became a beautiful woman.
For many females this is normal behavior.
