Only three non-military. I think Trump qualifies and obviously so does Flynn. Maybe!

I was trying to say that he and Trump were technically military but didn’t word that very well
Actually, no, the President of the USA is always a civilian. That way, our military is always under civilian control. It's part of our system of checks and balances.
When Eisenhower became president, he had already retired and was considered a civilian even though he had been a general in the U.S. Army.
That I knew but I thought Trump national guard in his youth? Maybe it was just a military school looks like he has "no former military or government" experience (per wikipedia)
