Nothing actually stopped women from voting, there was nothing in the Constitution preventing it and -- due to the fact that we haven't actually had a female leader -- the straw man argument that women destroyed this country with their votes actually ends up a bit too silly to laugh, because it was men who did all that.
Just like women in the work force is far less of a problem than the fact that a ridiculously high percentage of our manufacturing is out of country, and we consume products made by other countries instead of our own. This pushes a lot of jobs abroad instead of at home. Ignoring the illegal element, which also can't be understated.
