So, you want someone to get tougher sentences for a firearm law that shouldn't exist in the first place?
I'm almost convinced that his indictment is a test to see which we value more. Seeing Hunter Biden being convicted of a crime, or 2A rights.
I'm sure there are plenty of libs laughing their asses off when seeing pro-2A people cheering on a case that clearly violates the 2nd Amendment. 🤦
I do not believe someone under the influence of drugs should carry a firearm. Get rehab and regain the right to own one. The point is there is a law that exists and Hunter was initially given a free pass because those enforcing the laws played politics. Do away with the law then, and we won’t be talking about the failure to charge Hunter. If you have a law enforce it equally. If you aren’t enforcing the law at all or unequally, then get rid of the law!
The indictment isn't for him carrying the gun while he's using drugs, though.
It's about him owning a gun as a drug user. And falsely filling out paperwork saying he wasn't.
There's nothing in the 2nd Amendment saying drug users can't own guns. So they shouldn't even be allowed to ask that.
He already has the right to own a gun. He's a US Citizen. He doesn't need to do anything in order to regain that right.
